Hi Dads

What it is:

A nature based scavenger hunt searching for things such as animals, types of plants, and more.  This is part nature adventure and part hike!  The Scavenger Hunt List can be downloaded here:

Please print out and bring a copy of the list for each of your children to use.

Where:

Turner Park in Longmeadow.  Meet by the pond. Here is a map for those unfamiliar with the park:

When:

Saturday, 5/26 at 10AM.  We expect the event to take 1.5-2 hours.

What if it rains?

As of right now, the forecast looks pretty good.  If this changes I will make the call by 9AM Saturday morning to cancel and send out an email.  If you do not hear anything on the morning of, please assume it is on.

What about young kids?

The park is generally stroller friendly.  I will be pushing one myself. If you have kids that are too young to really participate in a scavenger hunt please feel free to bring them along to enjoy a nice stroll through the woods with some other dads.  It’s never too early to start exposing them to nature!

Where: Turner Park, Longmeadow MA

When: 10AM-12PM

What: Nature based scavenger hunt where we try to spot various things that are native to the area in the natural setting of the park.  This is part nature adventure and part hike!
